Orcas Island is located in northern Puget
Sound, approximately 90 miles northwest
of Seattle, Washington, and 90 miles
south of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Orcas is one of
the four San Juan Islands served by the
Washington State Ferry System. Terminals
are located in Anacortes on the mainland,
and Sydney, just outside of Victoria, B.C.,
on Vancouver Island.
The Orcas Island
airport, located near Eastsound, has
regular commuter flights as do seaplane
bases near several of the major
island resorts.
